How many vw rabbit pickup's were sold in the usa?break down in to each year? 80 thru 83?
vw rabbit pickup, also known as Caddy. were manufactured in the US at the westmoreland, PA plant. From appox 1979 to 1983 does anyone know how many sold in the us? Is there a website with this info?
The following sales figures are for pickups sold North America & Canada: 1979 78 1980 25,532 1981 33,879 1982 12,769 1983 4,861 1984 392 1985 2 Total 77,513 Although the pickups were sold in 84 & 85, the production actually stopped in mid 1983. Production then moved to Yugoslavia later that year, and were churning out 1000 Caddy's (Re-named) per month until war broke out in 1991. The Caddy is still produced in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Is a 1963 vw baja pickup truck is it rare?
I have only seen one and its mine. It looks like a baja bug except ot has a flat bed. I was wondering how many where made and what it is worth?

If you go to www.edmunds.com you can get used car prices for cars pre-1990. There you can find specific forums for both information and classifieds. I've seen the Caddy's go for anywhere from 100 - 2500 bucks in stock pristine condition. My friend owns a Caddy, he bought it about 4 years ago and paid 1800 bucks for it, but it had the early rabbit style front end conversion and a new motor. Price also will depend on where you live.
Where can i find a turbo for a 1.6L vw rabbit pickup diesel?
want to buy a turbo for a rabbit or a whole rabbit pickup for cheap anybody have one?
easier to get the car with the factory installed turbo because a regular 1.6 diesel and a turbo diesel has a swack of parts other than the turbo that you need as well.
